Introduction

Journal of Institute of Medicine Nepal (JIOM Nepal) is a premier peer-reviewed multi-disciplinary journal in Nepal on publication for the last forty years. It is a multispecialty journal carrying the aspirations of all those affiliated to the Institute of Medicine. It is a scientific medical journal in English and publishes papers on health and medical issues.

It is published by the Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University. The journal has been in regular print and over the years, its influence has been growing with increase in submission in numerous subjects ranging from clinical to basic sciences. It has a panel of reputed peer reviewers with specialization in their respective fields.

JIOM Nepal was first published in 1979 AD and the first Chief Editor was Prof Gopal Acharya.

Electronic version was started from 1998 AD.

The manuscript submission to the JIOM Nepal should be done via email to the Editorial Team at its email address editor.jiomnepal@iom.edu.np with the subject Manuscript submission for publication in JIOM Nepal. The email should be addressed to the Editor-in-Chief.
